Our Story

Our journey began right before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. Our efforts have included donating food and PPE to those in need, fundraising for safety alarms and neighborhood patrol programs in response to the surge in anti-Asian hate crimes, organizing rallies and community events nationally, and advocating for ethnic studies in K-12 education.

We strongly believe that direct action and collective community effort are the most powerful and effective tools when it comes to protecting and empowering people. In order to fight hate, we combat it with love- we combat it with connection, teamwork, with mutual understanding. 

We hope to grow and continue our endeavors in a way that promotes inclusivity and togetherness. We aim to combat what unjustly divides communities from one another, especially during major crises that show the interconnected nature of our battles. We believe that the solution is to hit the ground running- human to human- to solve the problems that affect our communities while assisting and learning from one another.
